We Only Die in Someone Else’s Reality

March 14, 2017

I was 11 years old when I had my first dream that I had died. I woke up out of breath, confused. The room was dark and the darkness made my own death real, present. I didn’t know anything about the cosmos then. The little I knew about the cosmos was through watching Star Trek. I grew up in a world where religion was the only explanation that was given to us. Death is the end of life on earth and the beginning of life in Heaven. I wish I knew then what I know now. I wish someone had told me that life on earth is complex, and there are many paths to possible truths and untruths. I grew up, not only scared about my own death, but the death of the people I loved. I thought by studying to be a counselor it would help me understand everything better. It didn’t. I lost some more people and felt scared many times since that night when I was 11. If you are like I was, frightened of what death would take from you, then I hope you read this letter. I am going to start by talking about a rare book called Biocentrism. Don’t be alarmed by the strange name in the title. This book was different from all the other books I read about death. The author Robert Lanza caught my attention when he said “If one could travel at lightspeed, one would find oneself everywhere in the universe at once.” Then death is not real if we could be with ourselves and everyone we lost outside of time and space. If we could revisit ourselves, our lives and the people we once had then death is only a temporary experience. A made up experience. Perhaps nothing that we see is true in a true sense, but a creation of our perception. Perhaps we are Gods and mortals all at the same time. How would that change the way you live your life? How would it change the way you love? And how could it change the way you create your reality? If you only knew that you are the creator and the experiencer. You are the magician and the magic. You and I. We are both. And we are everything. Before. Now. And after. Above and Below. In and out. If we found a way to prove this for certain it could help us advance faster but it could also destroy us. But isn’t it worth a chance? What if we had proof that the creation around us was made by us? Would we add an ocean close by? A forest? A person or two to love? Could we go back in time to be with someone we loved ten years ago? The possibilities are endless. And so they should be. One of the things I love about the books Biocentrism and Beyond Biocentrism is that they take a chance at looking at our biology, our consciousness and our creation in ways that most physicists and scientists refuse to do so. They refuse to use their consciousness to create some of this science and expand it to something new. Lanza did just that with his books and it allowed me to look at my universe in ways I couldn’t before. He spoke to us about nothingness in ways others couldn’t. Maybe the way he articulated nothingness loudly spoke to my soul. “We do not look out at the universe but it is instead within us, as a rich 3-D visual experience whose location is the mind. Magnetic and electric fields fill the cosmos and these have the power to influence the motion of every particle with an electrical charge.” To me this means that the magnetic and electric fields are inside our minds not outside. We create life and death and everything in between. Inside of us. Not outside. Not out there. Not only once, but always. And forever. Forever and ever without end. There is no past tense just present where everything lives. Did you know that space is quiet? Colorless also. Consciousness is responsible for sound, and color and a lot of other experiences. Our eyes and ears are not giving you what is out there but what you have created it to be. And Lanza continues his worldview by adding “But if that window is within my skull, what about my fingertips that I am holding up? Don’t they define the outer limits of my body? No they do not. Those fingers are also within your mind. They are the mind’s representation in tactile form when you experience touch. It is a representation of your body that itself exists within the mind.” We have assumed this reality. We have assumed and created concepts for all that we witness in front of us. We have assumed that when this reality ends because our bodies end we cease to exist. And this is partially true. We cease to exist through this one way of perceiving the world. Translating light and magnetic fields into color and sound through our brain and body. But when this body ages and dies and you are without your eyes, and legs and ears you would still be, but just not the way you used to. You would be processing the universe in a different way. Lanza was responsible for giving me goose bumps when I first read the following words in his book Beyond Biocentrism. “Because time doesn’t exist there is no after death. Except the death of your physical body in someone else’s now. It is simply impossible to go anywhere, you will always be alive. At death we finally reach the imagined borders of ourselves.” We only die in someone else’s reality. Not in ours. (click to tweet!) Thank you Robert Lanza for putting into words what others couldn’t. (click to tweet!) When I got this, I felt like I got back all the people I loved and lost. Including my husband who died in 2006. He is dead for me but not for him. He only died in my reality. And that to me is everything. With Stardust, Christina Christina Rasmussen is the creator and founder of The Life Reentry® Institute, Second Firsts, The Life Starters and Star Letters. Get Quiet to Unlock Your Heart

February 28, 2017

Today’s Star Letter is from Elaine Glass. *** I found you in the midst of a trillion stars. Shining off the backdrop of a colorful and fiery Universe. As Twin Stars, our Twin Souls collided and were blinded by our collective energies. We danced on top of white cotton candy clouds, spinning somersaults and tasting life's sweetness. I fell in love with you in the twinkle of the night's slumber. Do stars collide like human souls collide? Do stars recognize each other's magnetic energy like human souls do? Because when I saw you I truly believed you were my soul mate, my star mate, my everything. And in this realm, we laughed and played and never lost sight of one another. We had lost so much time. Our souls were desperate to be close. We were overcome with an intense realization of a billion lifetimes; that it's me and you, it's always been me and you, and will forever be. Because your light shined so brightly, in the midst of those trillion stars, I was able to find you. You were revealed to me in my quiet moment when all of my senses were open to receive. This kind of love can only come in one's silent state of being, for this is the place of absolute truth and the key that unlocks broken hearts. I wanted to stay with you forever… In an instant, I was blinded by a supernova flash of light and what was once our twin star was now a single star. The energy bounced me across a million light years and I found myself in a small New York City apartment high above the noisy streets. Was this all a dream? Are you still with me? You told me twin stars could never be torn apart. I was desperate to find you again. It would be difficult to feel you again with all of the noise in this city. It’s difficult to heal our spirit in the everyday clamor of life. My missing you needed healing. I created my spiritual sanctuary in the Quiet moments where I could hear my soul's voice guiding me every step of the way. Why do we need Quiet? Our Central Nervous System is like the internet of our body. It sends important messages to every cell. It tells our major organs to be healthy. If our Central Nervous System is in a state of havoc, our body is susceptible to illness and without calm we have dis-ease. I trusted Mother Nature. The parks and the streams supported me. It was here where I most felt you would be circling planet Earth trying to find me. And so it was, in the determined trees who whispered your name and guided me closer to you. I made it a daily ritual to Get Quiet. I felt joy, inner peace, unconditional love, and freedom there. All I wanted was to be close to you. I asked over and over, are you the one, the one I was meant to love for eternity? I noticed if I calmed my body and took time to breathe, I could be right back with you. Anytime I needed you, I could be with you. I see how this works now. Back and forth from Earth into space I went. It takes great imagination and faith. I had to trust myself. My heart had to stay open. At last, you appeared! It was finally time to rest our weary souls. We looked out to the vast Universe together in wonderment and amazement. "There is too much purpose, too much logic, it's all too beautiful to happen by accident. There has to be someone bigger than you and bigger than me... and I mean this in a spiritual sense, not in a religious sense, there has to be a creator of the Universe who stands above the religions that we ourselves create to govern our lives."  ~ Astronaut Eugene Cernan I still dance here on earth under the full moon, longing to keep dancing with you. (Click to Tweet!) My soul remains in a deep love; A love so vast as the Universe we played in. Is space travel to the 7 exoplanets possible?

February 23, 2017

After yesterday’s NASA announcement everyone started to think about what it would be like to travel to space and visit these new 7 exoplanets. What we know for sure is that it would take NASA’s space shuttle at least 1.5 million years to get there. NASA’S new Horizon spacecraft would take over 800,000 years in our current technology. But our mind is unstoppable when it comes to imagining what is possible for our human species. We dream about going to the stars and beyond. We dream about a life that is multi-planetary and different from the life we have experienced on earth. NASA created this fantasy travel poster imagining how tourists or possibly colonists of the future might visit the Trappist-1 system, which includes planets that could host water.   At only 39 light-years away, scientists say the nearby system is our best bet for finding life beyond our solar system. Even though none of us have been to space, the thought does not scare us. We are excited about the discoveries NASA made yesterday and we look forward to all the possibilities ahead. One of the reasons that these type of discoveries are important is that Earth won’t last us forever.  Physicist Stephen Hawking says that disaster – either natural or man-made – will eventually put an end to life on Earth, and we have to escape if humanity is to survive. To say that he has been vocal about this is an understatement. In a new book titled ‘How to Make a Spaceship: A Band of Renegades, an Epic Race, and the Birth of Private Spaceflight’ by journalist Julian Guthrie, Professor Hawking shared his thoughts in the afterword. “I believe that life on Earth is at an ever-increasing risk of being wiped out by a disaster, such as a sudden nuclear war, a genetically engineered virus, or other dangers. I think the human race has no future if it doesn’t go to space.” The good news is that we are on our way whether Earth survives or not, we are going to the stars. * Images Courtesy of NASA/R. Hurt/T. The Soul’s Contract

February 21, 2017

I have always been fascinated in the reasons behind the connections we make with specific people in our life. Why we marry someone who ends up hurting us. Why we find it hard to move on from a relationship that is not good for us. The list of my questions on the topic of destiny and the soul is very long. So when I saw the following question come to the stars, I had to answer it. I believe in the concept of soul contracts but I would like to know more about them. If we made a contract to reincarnate and work with another soul, and the outcome was a devastating loss, how can I figure out what the personal lesson is that I am supposed to learn from the pain and suffering that comes from the loss? Dear Anonymous, As you know, a soul contract, the way it is defined in our culture, is an agreement that we make with another soul before we are born in order to progress our growth while in this lifetime. When I first heard of this I was a little mad at myself for agreeing to so much pain. As a matter of fact I didn’t want to believe that it was true. My response was ‘“what is the science behind something like this?” You see, I went on a journey years ago to find out this very question you asked for myself. The Webster dictionary defines soul as “the immortal essence, animating principle, or an activating cause of an individual life”. The timeless soul activates the individual life or many lives. And as Carl Jung said “There is no coming to consciousness without pain. People will do anything, no matter how absurd, to avoid facing their own soul. One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious.” Making the darkness conscious. Just writing and thinking this hurts a little. But, my dear anonymous, to answer your question about what is the personal lesson that you are supposed to learn from the pain and suffering that comes from loss, I want to say this: Grief is an evolutionary experience when used as fuel for activating this very individual life. You are now more compassionate towards others and you have more empathy towards the ones who are going through loss. These are the universal lessons of grief. We all collectively become better people through suffering. Unless of course grief is attached more to ego, more to the self, then the contract is about lessening the ego and letting grief teach us. But here is where things get a little more individual. The pain you are feeling is altering your behavior, and your personality and we need to pay attention to what is changing. It is like a new season is coming in, one that you have never experienced before. It is not winter or summer, spring or fall. It is something new. Something you could have never felt without the devastating pain. For me, when my husband died the level of pain I experienced shocked me. I was so angry. Angry with the world. Jealous of the world around me, or anyone who was not going through so much pain, so early on in life. Why me? Why not them? I saw a darker side of me. One I could not have seen without the lesson of grief in my own life. There were many more lessons that took place over the last ten years. Here is an exercise you can do to find out about your lessons. Grab a piece of paper and write down all the things you learned about yourself since the loss. Be very determined to write this list. At first there might be some resistance towards writing things down. Making the darkness more conscious is key to learning the lessons we agreed to in our soul’s contracts. (Click to Tweet!) Once you become aware of your own lessons the next step is a little harder. Reach out to a friend you love, and trust and ask them to tell you how they think you have changed after the loss. You want to be able to witness the change of any darkness that was there before the loss and of any darkness that is present now. We have to eliminate it, see it, learn from it and above all witness our own growth through this. After all, our soul came here to advance and without seeing the darkness transform into light it cannot do it. One of my favorite books about soul’s purpose and journey is ‘Journey of Souls.’ The author, Michael Newton talks about being a part of ‘a soul cluster group, a small primary unity of entities who have direct and frequent contact such as we see in a human family.’ The people we lose all belong in this cluster and we are all more or less at the same level. Newton has studied people’s past lives for many years and he came to some very significant conclusions. He writes in his book that ‘the average number of souls in these inner circle groups is around fifteen. Members of the same cluster group are closely united for all eternity.’ He also mentions that they have common objectives. Because of this point Newton is making about the commonalities, I want to add a third question for you. What were some commonalities you had with the person you lost? There lives the truth of some of your lessons. Something the person you lost also struggled with. Here is a quick recap for this exercise. Write down the changes you have gone through since your loss. Ask a friend to share with you what they have seen change within you. Look for the commonalities between you and the person you lost. And dear anonymous, remember that you have access to your higher self. Ask for answers and be open to receiving them. In my search for answers I could not find much science around soul contracts, and lessons and that is ok. Science has proven in the last few years that the soul exists many times. I will do a whole other Star Letter on this. But science that proves soul contracts and how we can learn from them is much harder to track down. Possibly non existent. Take the time to make darkness more conscious, so the lesson can truly take place and your soul can advance to higher grounds. For those of you out there who don’t believe in reincarnation or soul contracts being a part of our journey of evolution I think it’s ok. Doubting is part of the journey from darkness to light.   With Stardust, Christina Christina Rasmussen is the creator and founder of The Life Reentry® Institute, Second Firsts, The Life Starters and Star Letters.
